When I was in the Navy, I was stationed in Okinawa, where I learned to speak Japanese. After I left, I studied in Tokyo at a foreign language school. It was the only way for me to get my visa, but

allowed me to stay there for two years. It was the most amazing two years of my life. I stayed in a Japanese hostel that also had an attached bar where the residents worked. I spent every

night there drinking and bartending, where I met so many locals and friends. I never fucked any Japanese woman because I was getting attention from American girls at my school. This one girl

became my girlfriend for the first year, but she had a crash out (culture shock) and left the country and we broke up. I didn't even want a relationship after that. I just spent my last year bartending.

for the hostel where I thought I was the best bartender the hostel ever had. Towards the end of my time there, it kind of sucked because there were more and more Indians moving into the hostel, and

the area. They were just so awkward and lame. I want to go back to Japan and maybe buy a house there or something.
