I broke my arm and now I've gotten dependant on alcohol, painkillers and sometimes weed. Why does addiction/dependency feel like this? I've got another 5 fucking weeks. My body feels like its breaking down.

For me it's boredom. Wish I could swap out my alc and za addictions for gaming and movie addictions.
Anyone have tips on how to cut back on addictions or simply replace them with less destructive ones?
