Does anyone else actually.... kinda enjoy being Hiki?

I'm Hiki (Not NEET really, I earn money and support myself) and I've always found it the most comfortable way to live. I only really leave my house to deal with something related to my job, but most of the time I don't even have to do that. I read, play vidya, work as necessary, and do it all again the next day. I'm 28 and have been living like this since I was 22. I was always pretty reclusive as a kid but still had to go to school and my early adulthood had me in some normie jobs that required me to be somewhere every day, and I'm happier like this than I ever was then. I guess I just don't really see what's so awful about it.

ive been hiki since covid hit? its cool and i like chilling in my room but it gets insanely lonely. also the fact that i have no job makes me feel even worse bc i have to leech off my parents to buy anime figs.

It's been my experience that I feel lonely anyway, whether I'm hiki or not though. I don't have the social battery necessary to fix that, if I'm being honest. I have friends, but don't reach out much.

My word for you are movies, watch a good movie, if you like alcohol watch it a couple drinks down, if you're a druggie watch it while a high on a depressant, you'd be inmersed in that world I promise, if you're a true warrior and deal with loneliness without that sort of escapism well, you should be proud of being resilient like that, and still watch or rewatch a good movie, it's simple but it works wonders

Have job, but just a shut-in outside of that. I don't interact with people outside of my job or even play multiplayer games.
Honestly was pretty nice the first few years. A very simple satisfying loop of
wake up -> work -> come home play vidya -> make dinner -> watch anime/stream -> work out -> maybe some more anime or vidya till midnight -> repeat
I was actually in decent shape, and though I interacted with barely anybody outside of the work place, I was content.
But the loneliness and same old has started to creep up on me desu.

If you do decide to start exercising anon, just remember to take it slow when you first start.
Unless you are <24 ish your body absolutely CANNOT recover and rebuild as it did when you were a teen. Over doing it will actually slow your progress.

I enjoy being a reclusive NEET, but as my family is dead, I have to go outside twice a week.
I somewhat enjoy spending 98% of my time at home. Just a shame about all the noisy normcunts around me.
