i just think that sex is a very intimate act. it's something that puts you in a vulnerable position, and i think that i would only be okay with sharing that part of myself with someone that i know i would be able to spend the rest of my life with. i would also want him to be a virgin as well because it would make it extra special if both of us had made that commitment.

i'm not too worried about sexual compatibility, i think it's something that can be worked on, especially if we love and care for each other on that level.

also, i want to wait until marriage rather than just a relationship because i don't want to risk losing it with someone that it potentially doesn't work out with. i know marriage can fail as well, but the level of commitment is higher and it's also more difficult to break. we would be more inclined to work through whatever issues we face
