when i was a teen id look in the mirror and my features would shift around as i looked at them. judging by the women i've dated and who've approached me, i'm considered attractive. i still can't figure out what i look like just based on looking in the mirror unless i'm drunk though. for whatever reason, everything is really clear when i drink, not just that. i avoid alcohol regardless.

Recognizing your obese and perceiving yourself as really obese when you might only be a bit fat are two different things. The latter is proper body dysmorphia. You can also have a distorted view of how other people look, but I don't know if this has a name. Body dysmorphia is a psychotic perception of your own looks.
