I was afraid and disgusted by alcohol for quite some time but at some point, I thought I'd be cool and more relaxed if I started drinking. So I took a beer, then two, three, got drunk and since that day, I drink because drunkness feels good. But it really doesn't feel good when you hurt yourself and everyone around you.
