I had around 40 hours on it before my first clear. A lot of stuff goes wrong, so don't worry about it. Weird thing about the game is the more framerate problems you're having, the better your chance of clearing it. My first near clear, I was fighting the final boss and there were so many particles on the screen, I lagged right into some lava and died before winning.

Yep, I just died in the vault to a stupid acid dude after I got a dank wand and was heading back to the mountain to edit it. feels bad man
If you spend a lot of time in the first 2 zones getting hearts and good wands/spells/money it makes the rest way easier.

That's true, I guess. The only areas I have very little trouble in are the first 2 since I've been there so often. (Things can still fuck me over but It's easier to counter) The ice caves are god awful with how open the area is. Entire clown cars of enemies just gang up on you all at once from every direction and that's only one problem.

I'm at 78 hours with no clear lmao.... I get what you mean though. The first time I got to the laboratory I was able to live by just dodging for at least a minute or 2 before getting teleported into lava (I had teleportitis)

I've been trying to learn more about the game for the last few days and yeah there's a lot of potentially amazing stuff I'm seeing.
It feels like I'm being given nothing but worthless garbage but I'll keep trying I guess. I haven't really used much of the limited spells for a damage wand because I don't like the fact that they're limited but maybe that's what's holding me back?
