What's the best suicide method, preferably as painless as possible, for someone with no access to guns?

The best suicide method is to hate yourself so much that you keep living just to suffer. Obviously not going to give you any real help with this but youre going to die one day anyways, time will pass regardless, so why not take the gamble and stay alive? worst case scenario you just die not feeling miserable, which is what is 100% going to happen if you kill yourself, but you could also live a fulfilling life. why would you take a gamble that results in a certain loss when you could gamble on better odds by not killing yourself??

Probably some kind of prescription drug overdose. Jumping off a cliff or building is instant death depending on the height, it happens so fast the pain receptors in the body cant even respond to it.

Overdosing on prescription drugs is probably the worst way to go about it. Even if it does kill you (rare circumstance) it is gonna be organ failure over several days/weeks, if you could just swallow a handful of pills and go to sleep but not wake back up the suicide completion would be like 800% higher

I don't condone or advocate for suicide so consider this knowledge as purely academic and not an endorsement of death in any tragic capacity.

Since guns are not an option, I would have to cast my vote towards opiod overdoses which are allegedly painless. Grow some opium poppies which you can buy from any plant store or even the supermarket. Depending on where you live, it can be legal (or not) to harvest them for the opium they produce. These compounds may also give you a way to continue living that doesn't require the malpractice of the pharmaceutical industry.

Hanging with a belt on a doorknob, if you don't lose consciousness in 20 seconds or so you're doing it wrong

what does it matter? you'll be dead afterwards. Not like you're gonna live long enough to feel the pain. People have gotten shot and stabbed before and didnt even notice yet. Shock and adrenaline are some powerful painkillers, at least for a few minutes, which is all you'll need
