Never had a girlfriend or had sex and I'm about to turn 23. I'm starting to think it's gonna stay like this for a while longer. Possibly into my 30's. Women have never really found me attractive and I've always kind of just faded into the background. Current copes are that I'll build a jacked body and use the money I get after I finish my masters and get employed to get jaw implants for my shitty jawline, but I'm convinced that no matter how hot I physically get, they'll see the autism and awkwardness and be repulsed.

One of my best friends has a shitty job, no degree, no car, was bordering on alcoholic, less than mediocre physique, and he still managed to attract a girl at a bar. She fuckin', like, got obsessed with him. What matters is that you are fun to be around and that you are confident, and that you enjoy going to bars. A big detail is not expecting to get laid from going there, instead you should be just having fun with the people around you. Of course, for guys like us, perhaps that is easier said than done.

Find ways to talk to actual real women. Practice your social skills. It's a skill you can improve just like any other skill. My problem in undergrad was that I was in a male dominated major and was always swamped with work. I'll def have more free time in grad school so working on my social skills in general is gonna be a goal on top of everything else.

I'm actually blackpilled on this. I think by the time you're in your teenage years, your personality is mostly set in stone. You do have a bit of leeway upwards/downwards but I have never seen a socially stunted person turn into a social butterfly later in life.

Your brain quite literally molds itself around your childhood/teenage years the most and if you missed out on proper socializing during this pivotal time, there's nothing you can do to fix it.

Not saying you shouldn't try to be as sociable as you reasonably can be but telling him that he can reinvent himself and "get any woman you see" is only setting him up for failure. You really need to start being open to finding friends/partners who are little bit weird. No matter how hard you try you'll never be a "Chad" because "Chad" doesn't have to try, he's sociable by default.
