Can you really have firm belief in anything? Because we are a product of the universe, we cannot define the universe. Everything is fundamentally unprovable. Ultimately, even beliefs like "the world that I'm seeing is shared by other people and this isn't a hallucination" is based on faith. If you can have a firm belief in something like gravity, then you can have a firm belief in anything else that is fundamentally unprovable and taken on faith.

I don't. I think Catholicism is heresy. I am a Protestant (specially Methodist.) Catholics are Christian and will go to heaven, but they teach false doctrine. The only to heaven is to believe Christ is your savior (John 3:16.) That doesn't give you free reign though to sin.

It was all for appearance to get approval and social standing. I was an edgy atheist in my teens from that(if God real why shitty people do shitty thing) but got over it and eventually came to Christianity. I forgive my mother for being a pos as she grew up in poverty and once she had a taste of money and status she couldn't go back. Without trying to understand her I would still be an edgy atheist with mommy issues.
