why do you care if its demonized or not? if you want to kill yourself you can and should just go and do it. All you need is a length of rope or a stacked medicine cabinet and you're good to go. It's obviously against society's best interests to tell people (young people, at least) to kill themselves because they've already invested in them by providing them with an education and services and now they're expected to give back to the system via labour. Not saying I agree with it but it's how the system operates. If they went around advertising suicide and people started partaking they'd be losing money
