Anyone else have this? I always feel like I have to experience something, often just so I can say that I experienced it.

Not really, but I will always choose to experience something new if given the chance. If a stranger were to tell me to follow him down a damp alleyway at night I'd do so just to add to my portfolio of life experiences.
People can be a bit taken aback by that since I seem like the shy introverted type who wouldn't be interested in anything they propose.

i kind of have the opposite. i think the best use of my time would be to sit on a chair an hour or two a day and do literally nothing
but i keep distracting myself instead

I always thought that was such a toxic mindset. People like that usually end up being known as daredevils who die in some stupid stunt because they wanted an "experience".

I was a bit similar but after a series of particularly terrible choices I've wisened up a little. FOMO is not good for you.

>>81648148 (OP) Every person with brains need to experience something new. You're in the right path. You're not part of the masses.
