I hate how it deracinated indo-european culture. In some places like eastern europe, there isn't even written evidence of our pre-christian culture. Only some very tiny and shallow parts of it remain, changed into christian holidays. I wish we were instead converted by buddhists or another such religion. The japanese got a good deal.
