So all you need to do is gather 50k to NEET it up? Is that right?

If it's anywhere near civilization it must have unimaginable damages to only be 50k, also >>81652379. You'd have better luck just renting in Bangkok for $200 a month until you run out of money.

is the house connected to city gas or does it have an oil tank? How is the insulation? What's the annual property taxes? How accessible is public transportation? Does it come with laundry machines, and is the plumbing set up for laundry if not? There's a lot of questions that impact the cost of NEETing and the quality of NEETing that are unanswered by this picture. You'd probably want another 200k if you want to coast on investment dividends to pay the bills.

You've also got to save up for any maintenance costs for anything that you can't fix yourself

>property tax

Should be fucking illegal. If you buy the land, you've bought the land. The Revolutionary War was incited over much less like the fucking British taxing fucking tea. What is this red coat shit?

The damages probably cost 100-200k+ which is what drives the price down. You might be able to do it yourself but think about why other people aren't, and it's not because they're far lazier than skill-less neets.

I'm from MA so I don't know about IL, but I'm assuming it's probably another liberal hellhole (thanks Chicago) that won't let you do much without paying half a dozen inspectors and licensed contractors.

How do the nearby houses compare? How close are you to anything you need?

why dont civilized neets band together and live in houses like this? would be easy with 3-5 stable neets. schizoid type needs and not druggies or complete degens. one bedroom for each neet and they could each have their own kitchen time during the day for preparing meals to bring back to their room

well no one is using the living room so maybe you could DIY more bedrooms. or just pay to have it partitioned

you can't be on neetbux and be independent. you will eventually need more money than they give you.
you are nibbling on the first marshmellow they gave you right?

I have business ideas for small prefab houses for one that can go up cheap and be set up in close proximity to a multiple franchise commercial space specialized in takeout and designed to service the prefab neighborhood for most of its meals. Narrow business hours, predictable clientele and short delivery routes would keep overhead on those businesses way down so the cost of food would go way down, and the houses could be built without kitchens which would lower the cost. You could even set up a public bath facility and laundromat nearby.

It sounds like a great idea for neets living on the cheap, except for the fact that neets don't have money so there's no money in building anything to accommodate them.

The property would even support a few incomes. A few neets can clean the bathroom area a few times a week, a few can work in the takeout places, a few can do the landscaping.

These are cool, I wish we built little stand-alone houses like this on Bongland. I'm probably just going to settle for a flat which you can get starting at about 50k in my unnotable but not-awful town. Then without having to pay rent I can libe frugally, and can either try to get neetbux or worse case scenario have to work a day or two a week.

Some neets would be willing to do 5-15 hours of work a week for a little extra money, especially when the work amounts to taking care of facilities they would be caring for in a traditional housing situation, kitchen, bathroom, landscaping.

I'd make a comfy yurt with solar panels and a ground pump.
>Driven wells, which are suitable for depths up to 50 feet, typically cost up to $4,000, while dug wells, which are less than 30 feet deep, start at around $2,500.
Then another 2 grands for solar panels, and the yurt can be made cheap, no more than 2 grand.
