Advertisement is at the core of all the problems in the world. Its not necessarily directly responsible but the whole logic behind it is. They're inherently manipulative. If they didn't try to manipulate you into doing something against your interests then they wouldn't have to try so hard to get you emotionally. Ads would just need to be the plain facts about a product. And its not just that, the corporations are all trying to create a certain general feeling. To push consumerism on the masses and turn everything into a product. Anyone working in a PR department should be forced into exile and forced to do harsh physical labor for many years until even being considered for reintegration into society and ads should be totally banned from public.
