I've talked about this with a friend before and he thinks there will be some rebound effect where too many women will become single and overtime they'll start lowering standards as they slowly realize nothing long term will come out of sitting around or using methods that only gets you situationships
I'm not sure if that's true though when I press him for why he thinks this rebound effect will occur he just says that's the natural way of things but from the opinions I see online it seems like some women just think their looksmatch is completely gross and they're content with being single. There's no need for marriage like before I feel like our social environment has completely changed and we are entering unknown waters of social dynamics

I suspect birth rates will continue to collapse and with the advent of AI there will be an increasing breakdown in human relationships. Dictatorships will probably react by taking away rights from women and forcing them to reproduce. Democracies will probably be indecisive, plagued by gender wars and ultimately head for population collapse or authoritarian coups.

I don't see how. Modern women in the West seem to have a huge hatred of men. It makes them even less likely to compromise or lower their standards, on top of the other reasons. A lot of women seem to be checking out completely and simply not dating men at all.
And they vote, they vote more than men actually, which is the biggest problem. Even gentle attempts to coerce them to settle down or have more children is going to be massively voted against. So far democratic governments have only been able to push carrot policies with financial incentives to try and get women to have more kids, but this has not been successful given the continued decline in birth rates.
So I don't see how this will be sustainable without collapse or devolving into a dictatorship that forcibly takes away their rights, barring a massive technological breakthrough like artificial wombs.

Now you seem to hear a lot more whining about "positive masculinity" aka "where are all the real men?" and there's a shifting of the narrative away from "male loneliness" to just "loneliness" and whining about not being approached/flirted with in public.
The change in culture won't matter much for robots because we're all basement dweilling pussy boys who'd have trouble approaching women in a climate receptive to it. Instead we spent the past decade having it drilled into our head that looking at a woman wrong was harassment.
