Why did Americans vote for him? Can any of the damage he has been causing be undone in a quick manner or is it truly over?

I don't know about that, but what I DO know is that your incel tantrum doesn't improve this board at all.

So, please, stop wasting your time and energy being grumpy online.

Yeah, which is why I am wondering whether anything can be done about it or is it just useless to waste energy even caring about it? I feel like once corruption has taken hold in a country you might as well just wait to start up a new one because it is impossible to get rid of. Just look at the entirety of Africa. Corrupt and poor for multiple lifetimes.

Politics became entertainment and the ignorant public no longer capable of understanding issues or policy on any real level now votes like they are watching sports ball or American idol.

The public themselves have been getting dumber each generation and we have now reached the point where something as deadly serious as politics is treated like kabuki theater.

I remember when it was a popular opinion online that all politicians are cultist puppets and all presidents are appointed by the people who rule the world. Trump shills ruined that and made people believe that voting matters again.

I have no faith in the whites of america anymore

as far as I am concerned they all unmasked and showed us exactly who they are

power tripping whites with a supiriority complex

just as the have been for the entirety of american history

nothing changed

it was all an illusion

Voting does in fact matter. What matters even more is how intelligent the voters are and how engaged they are.

The people who say voting doesn't matter also dont think Kamala would be doing the same EXACT things Trump is doing. Because to claim so would be Intellectually dishonest.

The truth is that certain political parties (conservatives) want to convince people that voting doesn't matter while simultaneously rallying their base who will vote no matter what.

Elections are not decided by 51%of the country out voting 49% of the country.

It's decided by 31.25% convincing 38% not to vote for the party that loses with only 30% of the vote.

Think about that. The entire country is having its laws written by only 31.25% of people who voted for it. More than 2/3rds of the country are having their lives run by people they either directly oppose or didn't care enough to either oppose or support.

Most of the stuff the Trump administration and DOGE has undone took decades to build in the first place, so, yeah it's over. It's going to take multiple generations to fully recover from this presidency IF that even gets to happen at all. It's fucked.

Nothing wrong with his phrasing. I like to imagine people like you picking up a book and screaming "SAR GOOD MORNING SAR" when you find sentences that are even longer and more convoluted. Grim.
