Ive thought about this before since i view sex as a over all negative and shameful thing that has ruined relationships or the possibility of relationships for me ever since it became a factor sometime around late high school. I miss the days when relationships seemed more pure and more "trying to get to know the person" instead of lust and worrying about their body count and if they have an STD and if they did as much for you in the same amount of time as the other guys they had been with and if they even can feel love anymore and if they are going to get pregnant and etc etc. It complicates things so badly i would love for it to just not be a factor at all. Period. I might be ok with oral stuff, ill have to think on that. I feel like it could enhance a massage since you are basically massaging a sensitive part of someones body with your mouth but i digress.

But the problem with every "asexual" ive met is they are usually on a chemical cocktail of meds, have mental disorders and PTSD, and as many others have mentioned tend to be aggressively CHADsexual. They will bend over backwards, do absolutely everything for a hot guy but for you they will claim to be ace and then completely ignore any need you have, even nonsexual ones. I am very weary of any woman, especially attractive ones, who claim to be "asexual". Its always code for mentally ill and chadsexual.

I agree, there has been periods in my life where i had considered myself asexual but it was more of a cope for the fact there is no woman who wants me or ever will want me and its just going to be an uphill battle the entire time so i thought if i messed with my testosterone and forced myself to be asexual i could just no longer be sad about being alone. Didnt work. Because i wanted things beyond sex plus messing with my testosterone made me tired all the time. It is unnatural, and a sign of something very wrong. In nature the only times you see asexuality is when an animal is suffering a lot. If its not willing to breed its in a dire dire situation.

Low sex drive is a well known side effects of several antidepressants. Most of them kill your libido, so it would make sense that a lot of people who claim to be asexual are on meds. I also think for that reason it's fucked to create an identity around it as a lot of people do.
