How do /fit/ fags justify going to a packed gym full of other annoying fags hogging all the equipment and dumb whores flaunting their asshole AND on top of that be paying ridiculous fees like pic related
>>81671430 (OP)That's absurdly expensive for a gym.
To answer your question i only go to the gym outside of rush hours when there's only 40 yo single dads doing meme machine exercises and girls spamming lunges
On a semi-related note, /r9k/ and /fit/ are both on the extremes of nu-internet sociology (blackpill redpill etc). While everyone here strives to be the biggest cookie loser and tries to find any way to justify their misery, everyone on /fit/ is delusional that they're some kind of 0,0001% go getter and is full of people who unironically preach for betabuxx and that they're the greatest. It's like this place but instead of larping as a loser you larp as a normie or chad
>>81671430 (OP)anybody with a brain just puts together a gym at home. it only costs like $1500 all in
I workout in my room. I worked at UPS for like 4 months to pay for everything I needed.
Home gym is unironically the best solution for this or just become a calisthenics fag. Gym culture has become worse because every normie is getting bombarded on social media by fitness e-celebs so every gym is filled to the brim with people sitting around equipment
>>81671534Based normies bullying mentally ill gatekeepers out of gyms literally just by existing
>>81671539>he goes to the gym to socializeNormies MUST destroy every hobby and make it about getting together to party and fuck
you can exercise at home bro
without spending a dime.
I live in a middle of nowhere so I exercise using my roof, branches and rocks
It just works
I go to planet fitness that charges me 15 bucks a month which is not hard to come by if youre an absolute dipshit retard. As far as equipment being hogged though that shit does suck. Im on any piece of equipment for ten minutes tops. Some people think its the place to doomscroll and talk to their retarded fat friend they convinced to come with them. Still seeing hot women with big asses in yoga pants and shorts and even catching some staring makes the experience worth it though. And showing up about half the gym despite being pretty out of shape myself (but still better than most of the creatures in those establishments)
All my experiences with a gym have been fucking horrible, man. Every single fucking gym I've gone to has tried to scam me. First one almost scammed me out of 3k by signing me up to some physical trainer I never signed up to, they even forged my signature, had to get my attorney involved to cancel that. Then every fucking gym I've tried to sign up always has so many fucking terms and conditions, can't cancel before a certain date, need to pay sign up fees, it's fucking ridiculous. I just want to sign up to a gym and be able to cancel whenever I want, fuck having to go through all these stuff just to cancel a membership.
>>81671599No one goes to the gym to socialize, they meet new people there by going regularly or go with friends they already know.
I still see no wrong in that
Home gym. You can easily get creative for really less. Example? Backpack full of old books or anything weighted. Now, you can do pull ups, dips, single leg exercises, etc. For example, I have adjustable dumbbells that only go up to 30lbs, and a weight vest that goes up to 40lbs. What do I do? Single leg deadlifts and squats, and bulgarian split squat. Upper body: dips, inverted rows, and push-up variations. Also, add bicep curls to balance all the tricep work.

If it's a 24 hour gym, go really early in the morning like around 7-9am. By then, the normies have already done their morning workout. You could also go around midnight or so.
>>81671430 (OP)i go at unorthodox times wagecels can only dream about
>>81671430 (OP)Covnenience, size, fancy machines, classes, additional facilities etc.
Not american but paid good money for a while for one that always felt luxurious because it was quality yet borderline empty a lot of the time, was glorious but pandemic killed it
>>81671430 (OP)i only go on runs at night to avoid seeing anybody, why would anybody want to be in a room full of people exercising
>>81671430 (OP)I go to a gym where there is max 2 people at a time.
>>81671430 (OP)Friendly reminder that you can get fitter than 90% of humanity by simply doing pullups and chinups in your room. Normies literally can't even comprehend this power level and strength
