It would appear that the difference is not that it is just a clump of cells, the difference is whether the woman wants the baby or not. I find this situation strange. As a guy, I believe that if a woman wants an abortion, she should have the right to choose. If someone doesn't want kids, they are unlikely to take care of a child when it's born, which could lead to a poor life for that child.

Additionally, people don't always use protection, so if a woman has the option to address an unintended pregnancy before it's too late, why not allow it? Many women may want an abortion if they become pregnant from a rape or if their circumstances are so difficult that they can barely take care of themselves.

I live in a third world country and often see homeless people with children. It frustrates me that they bring kids into the world when they can't even take care of themselves.
