Dune is my autistic fixation at the moment, and I've been making the noise from the main theme of the new movies

Yeah, I'm addicted to listening to the opening part of the arena scene.

all the Giedi Prime scenes were incredibly cool

Fayd Rautha was one of the best things in part 2

Part 1 blew my mind when I saw it in the cinema. That is one of my favorite movie memories of all time. The music and visuals were just incredible. I had never read the books before so the story was so mysterious and creative too.

I feel very lucky to have gone to a midnight viewing of Part 1 + Part 2 combined. Over 4 hours on a Tuesday night watching Dune. Left the cinema at 1am and had to be awake for work by 6am... Worth it lol

I haven't seen the movies or read the books, but now I'm interested. Are all the books worth reading or is there a point I should stop at? Are all the ones by Frank Herbert himself worth reading, I know his son or whatever wrote like 20 more

I was in complete awe watching pic related scene back in November 2021... Genuinely felt like an almost spiritual experience. It was the most intense emotion a movie has ever elicited from me.

Read the first one, then you'll be able to decide if you want more after that. Plenty of people just stop at the first book.
