Idk if it counts as love but i have a friend who's quite sociable has a lot of girls orbiting him etc but he still always take the initiative to ask my sorry loser ass to hang out with him one on one

unconditional love can only be given from parents to their children. Then, the children can develop a healthy attachment style and give and receive love with no fear because they know they are inherently lovable no matter what. If your parents didn't love you unconditionally, you'll wrongly look for it in your romantic relationships. The love of a partner isn't unconditional, but that's what makes it unique. You shouldn't chase an attribute that is contrary to the very concept of romantic love. By now your only chance of engaging with unconditional love is by having children of your own and treating them right
