Never really got discord hate
It's not an especially fat or CPU hungry program
It rarely malfunctions
Doesn't lock anything important behind the paywall
Permits functionality like game and desktop streaming that would require marginal IT knowledge otherwise.
You have to actively go looking for nonces and weirdos, they're not served to you by an algorithm.
