I miss being a NEET and being obsessed with Doctor Who. In 2022, I was unemployed and all I did everyday was watch clips of Doctor Who on YouTube and then later on just watched Classic Doctor Who episodes. I'm also an undiagnosed sperg and that level of hyperfocus on just one thing felt so good.
I miss it a lot. I have a job now and it sucks.

Same feeling. The only good thing about me graudating college late and getting a job is that my parents are now proud of me. The money is nice too, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you wake up too early and work 40h a week. I'm purposely not doing any normie shit with my money. Like, I'm not moving out, not buying a car, never marrying and never having kids. All I want is to keep saving 70-80% of my paychecks and ensure that I retire in my early 40s. I actually have a good shot at that so far and it's largely the reason I'm not depressed, just almost depressed. The normies I work with live paycheck-to-paycheck and have a lot of debt and responsibilities and they joke about having 30-40 more of wageslavery to go. I'd honestly want to rope if I was in their situations. Even the 12-13yrs I still have to go feel like such a despressing waste of my youth...

Yep but unfortunately I am poor and therefore forced to work. I love the NEET life but hate being broke.
