Why did the word science become synonymous with soys? It should be the kind of thing that is immutable fact but any mention of science is just a meme now.

I assume hes still hanging out with my old friends, everyone i used to know likes to gather so they can just palpably vibe in my absence

It's been said a million time before, but "science" becomes a replacement for religion to atheists. There isn't any commitment or personal responsibility. And you can justify any of your beliefs using some kind of scientific study, even if it's a reach.
There's also the assumption that traditional people are ignorant because they don't believe in the same institutions you do.
