Combating loneliness is not going well. I'm not giving up but I'm getting tried of having no results. All these meetups and what not are not working but I do not what else I could do. I have no irl connections so everything I do is with complete strangers, meaning I'm always fighting an uphill battle.

its been 12 years for me. I thought the same, then it hit me like a truck. It does get worse after that much time. Been alone for so long that I swear it's affecting my physical health and my ability to connect with people get worse and worse with every passing day. I feel like an alien no matter where I'm.
