What does a hungry clock do?

It goes back four seconds.

i envy you
you still have your sense of humor in tact as well as your childlike wonder
personally i found the joke to be quite boring
and i wish i could take a shotgun and shoot myself in the head

I do not understand, why would a hungry clock go back in time. He is not gaining anything doing that. If he were truly hungry, he would go forward in time, like a greedy little piglet. No, if he went back in time, he would only regurgitate what he already had, like a cow.

This is why it is funny I think, because it doesn't make any sense at all. And subverts the expectations, which is a popular form of humor.

I see, it makes you think and then right when you come to similar conclusions I have displayed, you get taken by the nose again, and you get shown you were being a silly boy all along
A bit experimental but I can appreciate ingenuity.
