The Democrats are paid opposition. They take money from the same corporations and billionaires who pay them to be weak. They will not fight for the things being taken away from you. The supreme Court is also 5/4 in favour of the Republican fascists, they will shadow docket any piece of legislation the Democrats put forward to reverse the maga agenda. The only way out of this is the Democrats (who don't want to do this) would need to take the house and Senate and then use jurisdiction stripping to pack the supreme Court so they can then reserve the maga agenda. This could take many years to happen.

I do that while working an average of 65 hours per week. Perhaps we should stop making invisible boogeymen of people who don't exist, and actually address the issues of people that do.

Address things like rising housing costs which are unaffordable in many areas for a single person or address the looming demographic cliff that is the dropping birth rates which coincide with these economic forcing factors. Yes, address immigration which keeps wages artificially low. No political party wants to remove the true economic parasites from the system which is these corporations which extract wealth from the middle class and manipulate the lawmakers via lobbying to enshrine their manipulation in law.
