I tried Linux. It was everything I always expected it to be. It's incredibly tedious to use, and its cons outweigh its pros by an enormous margin. Microsoft is kiked beyond comprehension, but I would still rather deal with them than this bullshit. Something as simple as installing GPU drivers is an ordeal that can easily fuck everything up and waste hours of your time. The year of the Linux desktop will never be a reality unless they find a way to match Windows' ease of use. It's extremely blackpilling that I will eventually have to choose between Windows 11 and this trash
>>81701591 (OP)good afternoon saar, windows 11 great example of indian engineering saaar
>>81701591 (OP)Sorry to hear you're retarded, OP.
I switched to Linux back when Windows 8 came out. Using it on a daily basis is basically the same as Windows except it's noticeably faster and it isn't trying to sell me shit or spy on me.
I'll switch to linux if it will support all games and apps I like (No, I won't use GIMP)
I'm literally the dumbest motherfucker alive and I started using Linux Mint 3 years ago and haven't had any problems lmao, I don't know what you guys are doing
>>81701712Some complaints about Linux are legit, and I use Ubuntu as my daily driver.
Adobe products are in a class of their own. Excell is much better than Libre Office Calc for serious macros. Games still work better on Windows.

I bought a libreboot Debian thinkpad for personal use and to practice emacs.
Most of the time I'm in a web brower anyway.
So far it's fun and I enjoy learning things.
I think maybe the best advice is don't go in at the deep end and try to get some shit done for you in advance, save the headache.
