>>81702321 (OP)I hiked the appalachian trail last year and I'm 25 if that counts as doing anything. But yeah, no. We don't normally "do" anything except for the absolute minimum. Action is punished. Wanting is cringe. Survival and mental breakdown and damage control is where it's at. We were raised between two worlds: the real boomer world the mellinals had to live in and suffer the worst of, and the internet world that gen alpha will pioneer.
We're maladapted for either world and suffer from being fake and gay no matter what one we occupy. The advantage we have over millennials is that we'll always understand brainrot to a degree they won't. We grew into a world infested by invasive social media. The advantage we have over gen Alpha is that we still have our roots during a time when technology was still a fun novelty and we actually still went places in person as kids and didn't have this connection with the online world our parents didn't comprehend as much.
This is all a cope, though. Millenials have the advantage in the real world. Alpha has the advantage in the technological one. Unless technology continues advancing at an insane rate and we start doing shit like brain chips, not much is going to change about how the world works. Gen Z will remain forever in this awkward limbo in between worlds as a kind of liminal generation that should never have existed in the first place but did. The world was supposed to end in 2000. It didn't.
