There are still plenty of bugs near me in NYC, the only bug I don't see these days are fireflies, although I do see them in other areas like NJ.

I think maybe to start but then they become their own distinct thing. Like right now Electric Self Driving Cars are just cars, but I think that fundamentally the combination of those technologies will change it into something else.

the depressing part about nature is that a lot of forests are non native trees or tree farms and they mess with native wild life. if you are lucky enough to own land and have room to spare, please plant native species. i've heard nature recovers quite quickly and you could have cute bees and rabbits and such roaming around your property before you know it

I lived in a biggish city(pop. >100,000)for a few years ,no fire flies. Moved back to a more normal sized place and they're everywhere. I think it's because boomers and browns are hateful of everything but especially nature so they spend lots of money on poison to destroy the environment. I don't understand why it's a war crime to use chemical agents like nerve gas or blistering agents on humans. It should at least be legal to use on city people. Turnabout is fair play and they are doing it to my planet so they have no right to complain of a little bit of anthrocide when they apply herbicide and insecticide so liberally and hold liberal political views. City people are the most dangerous. Most crimes occur in cities. Everything bad is higher in cities. They should be destroyed.
