If an apocalypse happen, would you rather survive alone or join a group?

I would rather be alone, but your chances really increase if you are in a group. The collapses like Bosnia, Argentina, and Venezuela showed that living in groups are the best thing to do if you really want to live. Lone wolfs get killed pretty quickly.

i'd join a group and then through everyone else's sheer incompetence, they'd elect me to be their leader and i would reluctantly accept and our group would grow up in size and be the strongest and i become mad with power and i start demanding healthy women captured from other groups to serve as my concubines and then a hero of an uncertain past born to uncertain parents comes along and kills me in a climactic battle

The only thing stopping normoids from killing me is the fear of legal repercussion of course I see through the thin veneer of civilization their primitive blood intentions. Would be avoiding the groups or maybe picking them off using gorilla tactics and taking the loot.

Unless you have an unrealistic advantage that most other people don't have and renders you untouchable, you would get devoured trying to make it alone in a post apocalyptic scenario. Any encounter with more than one person where you can't get away, you would just get raped and killed. It would be an absolute necessity and priority to find other sensible and trustworthy survivors to form a group with and immediately begin procuring resources, food and weapons and building shelter and bases and shit.

I maintain my guns myself, and have thousands of rounds already, and am able to hand load and make lead rounds if needed. For survivalism needs though, I mostly get by with a bow and traps
