I do not have it, but I have a diagnosed condition with many similar effects outside of splitting and devaluation/idealization cycles (I only idealize).

No the exact opposite. People with BPD completely hate themselves and see themselves as worthless. They go through idealization and devaluation cycles. They basically see someone as utterly flawless and perfect, but if something triggers them they then cycle to viewing that person as worse than Hitler. I only have the idealization part of this, but again I do not have BPD just a condition with very similar attachment problems and extreme fear of abandonment.

Since you are curious though. Basically I am clingy like someone with BPD, but I won't randomly act nuts for no reason or hate someone at random. The only time I will act in a manner that is nuts is if someone I am attached to abandons me or gives me the silent treatment for multiple days.

sorry for responding as a femanon but my bf has been diagnosed with bpd and he's unironically the best bf i've had and this is by far the healthiest relationship i've ever been in

If only there was some sort of device that allowed you to ask what things were that would then instantaneously find the relevant info and show it to you. Some sort of electronic device connected to a knowledge repository that would take queries from text inputs and give feedback visually on some sort of screen. Unfortunately I don't know of the existence of any such device.

I was initially tested for it because I have a family history of it (mother) and I showed worrying signs. Of these >>81713659 I only have 1, 3, 5 (but only ever in relation to 1), 7, and 9. A psychiatrist ruled me out of having it, because the issues covered in 3, 7, and 9 for me are caused by a different unrelated medical condition I have (schizophrenia). I also had these same attachment issues as a child when I was diagnosed with a severe case of separation anxiety disorder. After some more testing it was ruled to be that this childhood condition didn't go away as it normally does, and I have severe adult separation anxiety disorder.
