i also feel that way quite often, mood swings are not an uncommon thing for me. but you might just be having manic episodes rather than being bipolar. im not a doctor but i think bipolar is more than just feeling great and then awful an hour later

or you could go to psychiatrist for a checkup, they have a test called MCMI-IV
thats how i got diagnosed with bipolar 2 (manic depressive)
which may be similar to your condition, but for me i never noticed anything else other than just random depression and elevated mood sometimes
