For my building, the place is pretty run down in the common areas (my room is actually pretty well maintained though) and some people kind of just leave trash wherever sometimes. I don't think anyone bothers cleaning the hallways or patching up/repainting walls at all.
Aside from that I haven't seen much that's worth complaining about. I don't smell the cooking much. The area around is alright crime wise. Downtown is the place you have to avoid.
One big issue with Indians in Canada (generally) is that they think cheating is perfectly normal and acceptable behaviour. Saw a lot of cheating when I worked as a teaching assistant for a STEM course

Vancouver has an issue with Indian gangs. I don't think my city does.
The biggest issue has to be the overpopulation of Indians here. It's hard to even use the bus due to overcrowding and pushing/shoving. Also they tend to be employed as service workers but often they're not trained well in sanitation standards or they don't care
I think my city has a much bigger problem with native gangs and native gang violence/reoffenders in the downtown areas. They're also overrepresented in prisons by a huge margin
