I own a discord server but Ive been active on discord since 2016. I was never looking for anything but a place I could be myself behind the screen. I barely speak irl and dont have friends. I spend my weekends smoking weed and shitposting or coping/complaining on discord to the people ive been speaking to for years. Back then though I was in several communities and was extremely active. My screentime even now is probably insane but I just talk to the people I can trust now in my own community.

If you live in Montana or South Dakota or some shit, you don't even need a 6 figure salary, anything above 50 or 60k a year can EASILY feed a family. if you're frugal you could probably go as low as 40K a year.
