Why are so many men submissive? Females are overwhelmingly submissive so what's the benefit of being submissive for men? Seems like they're just reducing their mate value. Is this just because of modernity?

Depends but alot of it is just fags being gay. Why are fags gay? You ask. Many were hurt by women or realized they are all worthless whores that put 0 effort into life, love, sex. For me, it's not about being submissive.
I just want a woman to be very overt in her interest before I can escalate. If she escalates, then it is easy for me to to so.
Sadly, I always get the silent ones who give me absolutely nothing. They might want me and be wet for me, but they will never tell me.
Then there's the whole bullshit about MeToo and women openly being Chad-only.
Men now assume the worst, unless she gives him a fuckload of green signals; ones that are blatantly obvious to us.
Women are infamous for their 'subtle' signals that men simply do not perceive as green lights. Make it obvious, FFS.
