A standard coffee maker. Been trying some post-brewing tricks lately to make it better. Making my own iced coffee is great since I can save even more money.

I also don't drink coffee. I prefer to take a single (or half, depending on the day) caffeine pill (100mg) with a glass of water when I wake up.

Only problem these days is cheap underpowered DACs and shoddy ports inbuilt in computers and cheap cables, fix those and you get the best audio quality by plugging a PC to some ancient good amp.
Storage costs peanuts, FLAC remasters with outrageous sample rates are everywhere, hell you can even play DSDs if you want to be fancy.

Basically what you need is a good amp, good speakers and, if you want to use a pc, a good digital to analog converter.
Once you got that you hunt down FLACs and other lossless audio, not the CD rips, preferably you get stuff that was published as FLAC, they will mog vinyls, rips sound flatter.

Anyways I'll bump this for sems because she (?) seems nice enough and could probably use some positive socializing.

Yeah go lurk some forums, I'm using refurbished headphones I found in an oil drum and some probably fenced sound system from the 80s, good stuff but they stole the tape player and the volume knob is wired in reverse.
No need to go full Gucci with the DAC, cheap ones already make things better, the problem with PCs is that the DACs that are inbuilt on the board are unshielded and underpowered, interference and distortion out the ass, external DACs are a shielded box with its own power supply that you connect to a USB port, they probably work for phones as well.
