If you watch slice of life anime people live in stable families, are nice to each other, and mostly have their lives in order. They live in nice neighborhoods with lots of opportunities to socialize and because most people are nice to be around that means everyone can make friends.

Those things are more genetic so more difficult to change but what I'm mostly talking about is personality and that's easier to change. Personality is half genetic, half culture so we could at least try to make our culture the best it can be.
