hey sleep. how are you doing? im reading a book called the red famine by anne applebaum. basically it goes over how the soviets manufactured a famine and expropriated all of there food from innocent starving families. It kind of reminds me of you. I dont know a lot but i know one thing, when the conversation stops thats when the violence starts. yeah i know anne applebaum is pretty woke. But i dont care, she has her own opinions and I have mine. Even if she has the wrong opinions about modern events, I still respect her as a historian
For example, she wrote a article about European and American democracy falling toward totalitarianism. But is what we have now democracy if you lock people up for speech violations? And what if you abandon democracy for liberty? Because the two are not the same. I dont think she understands anything about liberal values. She just says what government funded media wants her to say
