I got fat in my early 20s but at least that lowered my standards dramatically and they remain low now that I'm skinny again.
But to be honest I think most women look the best with their BMI around 20.

I think people should have lower standards anyway. Obviously everyone has preferences but ultimately looks will fade, especially if your goal is to grow old and be with someone til death do you part. You're both going to grow old and get saggy and wrinkly. Might as well spend that time with someone you genuinely enjoy being with, personality wise. I mean if they happen to be a 10/10 in physical attraction that's great but that shouldn't be the main draw, at least IMO. But I'm also speaking from the point of view of someone who is a 5/10.

BMI scale was as usual created to benefit women on the expense of men.

A man which just go to the gym a few times a week will have a bmi at 25 - 27.
He is not fat. However if you see a woman with same bmi she will have fat everywhere. Flappy arms, giant belly, double chin. Basically be disgusting
Optimal female BMI is 16.5 and she should never exceed 20.
