This raises the ultimate question? If god exists, why would he wipe out an entire cabin of little Christian girls? Surely he would of protected them from the flood if he was real.

There seems to be a common misconception among atheists that the fact that God can do no wrong means God is incapable of doing things that people would deem immoral if a human did it, which isn't the case. What it actually means is that the rules of morality do not apply to God. They only apply to mortal humans.
This means God is allowed to do things humans wouldn't do because the rules don't apply to Him. If God wiped out entire nations and subjected the surviving rest of the world to eternal torture on earth no matter what they did, that would be perfectly moral, because the person doing that is God and God's will is always moral. If a human managed to do it he'd be doing wrong.
