I don't think it's always like that but I'll agree that men do tend to be like that more often than women. I think it mostly comes down to socialization. For starters, men are raised to attach their value as a person with their ability to get women. Then you have one of your only real avenues to intimacy being romantic/sexual relationships. Friendships and familial relationships are often shallow and unfulfilling. Then women often get bombarded with male attention/validation, so it's cheap to them. So there's not as much of a need for it. Women's relationships with friends and family are often deeper and more meaningful as well so there's less of a need to rely on romantic relationships for social fulfillment. Shit was rigged from the start.

Its not a mind over matter thing it's just basic reality about how humans evolved as social critters. You're a self admited psychopath so it's no wonder you can't relate to this. But most neurotypical people require a sense of community to function well.

This isn't just rhetoric. There's very real physical effects from loneliness and they are well studied and documented at this point. Good starting point for you is to look at lifespan differences in lonely versus social humans. It's a huge gap. Being isolated literally kills you. It also significantly decreases cognitive functions, and even motor skills if you can belive it. No lie you are better off drinking heavily and smoking cigarettes than being lonely, from a health perspective. Sounds insane but seriously look it up this is all factual.

In rhesus macaques they found a difference in stool composition between lonely and integrated test subjects. In short the isolated ones had digestive issues which cascaded into other health problems.
