You ever wonder what a dog's ass smells like? Why are they always so obsessed with smelling each other. Surely it can't smell that good?

They have a gland there, anon. That's why they smell each other's ass. Because there's s gland that produces a substance that has a particular smell. They can mark territory or recognize each other by that smell.
Bunnies also have a similar gland, and it's secretions sometimes get clogged up into a ball that has to be removed. It has a very strong smell.
A dog's also may need to be drained sometimes.

So it's not the ass itself that they are smelling, but that particular gland's secretions.

I know that but does anyone else wonder what that smells like or is it just me?

It smells really bad, rather strong. I don't think I've smelled it myself.
But if you can squeeze it and drain it you can take a whiff and tell the class what it's like.
