My pillows aren't yellow.
I have a 3 sheet system, every Sunday I change the outer sheet, at the end of the month I change the outer and middle sheet and at the end of the year I change all 3 sheets. I also have 2 duvets an 2 pillows and do the same for their covers. I wash them with the right settings and use fabric softener and the works.
Some of my sheets were my parents and date to the 1980s or something, the seams have lasted that long and there is no need to buy new ones.
