Personally, I blame phoneposters. There are no keyboards, no mice, just a large hitbox on a small screen. You can't even create image macros on a phone easily. The whole UI for phones is so clunky compared to the precision of a mouse. The app ecosystem pales in comparison to Microsoft Paint.

It's pretty rough navigating that site with an English translator, but I do find it neat how every board there has a maximum of 50 threads on the catalog and the catalog is visually smaller. I think it makes the browsing experience more seamless.
