Me and my dad 99% of the time only discuss technical stuff like warfare, politics, maintenance, houses, handyman stuff, electronics, cars or other mechanical stuff. The other 1% is like, so you going to go homeless? no? good.

I'm so jealous. Your dad sounds awesome. My dad's just loud and obnoxious and beat my mom when I was growing up. Don't like him much. Wish I could just talk to him about cool shit like that.
