Why do all horror movies have a female lead character who wins in the end? It doesn't really make sense, does it?

cause men are empowered so if a man wins it takes away from the horror element

it has to be someone as helpless as a woman to do it in order to keep the suspense

but idk really

Those women would get raped in real life if they were in that situation

Nobody except the gayest guys on earth watch movies anymore. Everyone with a iq over 100 realized that books, video games, and music are superior forms of entertainment.

Movies and shows are made by dummies for dummies. Who cares? They're completely obsolete and will be forgotten by the youth in 10 years, give or take.

So you root for and sympathize with the protagonist, a man would be expected to stand and fight, not run away for a horror movie plot.

Because men aren't pussy, so making them a lead in a horror movie doesn't work
