Probably net positive because a lot of people can make a living doing it that are otherwise shut out of the economy by der jude's race laws and policies.

Negative.
Cam girls were always a thing, but it was niche and not many women were comfortable with the idea of getting naked in front of thousands of people.
But with streaming? Women can push the limit of what they can show before they get banned, but what they showed, cleavage and ass, was enough to where people came in their streams just to see them (and donate money). Then inevitably simps became a thing, made women total whores, ect ect ect.
>TL; DR, Yes 100% a negative

the level of play in shit like cs and lol has skyrocketed because of streaming
>inb4 there are still shitters
yeah but way less and even the shitters are less bad
people didn't know basic game knowledge before this kind of shit was common

There's not a lo lot of real work left after outsouricng, offshoring, automation, and importation of scabs that employers lobby the government for more of constantly by posting fake job listings they never intend to fill and then going to the government and saying LOOK, I CAN'T FIND ANYONE, I NEED PAJEETS FROM THE SLUMS OF MUMBAI TO WORK FOR SHIT WAGES AND LIVE 20 TO A HOUSE

It doesn't matter anyway, comp shooters are shit nowadays. Its either hero shooter slop or wannabe CS GO clones. Splitgate was promising, but flopped.

Old arena shooters like Quake and UT weren't for casualfags so they didn't have mass appeal unfortunately. You had to both be good at shooting, moving and quick-thinking and strategic to control the map and resources and niggercattle just want to randomly spray and get a headshot 1 hit kill.

What a shame they are unplayable because of 40 year old irl bots who have been running the same routes for 30 years and will instagib you before you even realize what happened. I enjoyed quake 3 a lot back when it was playable.

Nah I agree with you on that. Imagine how hard Rainbow Six Siege would have been to play if it came out in 2008? Especially if no one had information spoonfed to them like they did now? Your average Siege player would've dropped the game in around 10 hours.
>>81772192
True. As someone who has never played Arena shooters myself, I enjoyed Splitgate. It actually required skill unlike Apex where people just run meta Legends/weapons and straffes in every gunfight.

You can solve this partially with new maps, but the general experience with gameplay skills would take a new player at least weeks to catch up if they have the innate talent for the game type. It's like a lot of real sports where past a certain point grinding playing the game won't really get you any better, you're either naturally good at it or not. A lot of competitive games are like this, even things like MMOs with hard raiding content. You're either good at doing what you're supposed to be doing or you're shit and dragging the rest of the players down.

Those boomers are probably just the mediocre types of players who keep playing the game for whatever reason then, probably like fighting games people who only play games with "skill transfer" that are similar to what they're used to playing. When I played these games back in 1997-2003ish before the genre started dying everyone liked when new, well-designed maps were made and put onto rotation.
The only good experience I had with multiplayer shooters after that was probably Wolfenstein Enemy Territory which was a free game with privately hosted servers like the original arena boomer shooters and had a lot of custom maps made as well, but it was a team-only game and a lot of games were just stomps due to one team randomly getting stuffed with bad players and the other not so much.

Positive, it means less people watching network tv crap but I mostly watch retro games. Newer stuff especially stuff like COD where they probably cheat I find incredibly boring.
Why wait for a news report 2 days later when you can watch the thing as its happened, not cut up to get the attention of normies.

Boomers (real boomers, old people) are notoriously shitty about this because despite their claim of walking uphill both ways in the snow and wearing out their shoe leather hitting the bricks etc. they could actually just go to main street and apply in like a half dozen places and have a job within a week, and "working your way up" wasn't a meme back when boomoids were young, you didn't have this predatory shit where even if you get hired for some wagie shit job they either don't hire you on working enough hours or fire you just before you're eligible for bennies and then try to rehire you so you end up never eligible for bennies. All of these shitty practices, plus unpaid internships becoming the norm all happened under boomers. The ones who maybe weren't business owners, managers etc. and didn't do this unscrupulous shit have no clue how fucked everything is and in any case don't care because not getting results = you're somehow just making excuses. Fuck boomers.
