i tried to find people to talk to on /soc/. besides a few random interactins, i managed to talk to two people, but they seem to lose interest in the conversation.
i can ask them questions about themselves and get answers as much as i want and discover all about them, but they don't really care. they do like talking about themselves i suppose.
this time i won't try to keep the conversation going like a retard. what i'm learning is that trying to find people who are interested in me as much as i am in them isn't going to happen.

Since I graduated from school I met all my friends by joining discord servers of certain interests, in my case History, Philosophy and politics and slowly integrated myself into the group dynamic.
Eventually it grew close enough that I could meet some of them in real life.

If you're over 25 it's much better to just give up on people and learn to enjoy life alone. Trying to make decent friends as an adult is arguably even harder than finding a chick to get laid. Better for your mental health to just let it go but if you insist I'd say avoid females all together, avoid fat or tattooed guys and try to meet men with similar interests and intelligence to you by doing activities you enjoy. Try by making small talk and see how guys respond to you. The internet is entirely a waste of time to make friends. I know you Zoomers really can't seem to come to terms with this but you are never going to make real friends online go outside and do shit in real life. The internet is for information and memes not real socializing.
